PETERBOROUGH PANTHERS SPEEDWAY SUPPORTERS CLUB (PPSSC)
THE Peterborough Panthers Speedway Supporters' Club (PPSSC) was formed on the eve of the 2011 season with the intention to help raise awareness of Speedway in the City and surrounding areas.
The key objective of PPSSC is to assist the Peterborough riders, officials and management in any way possible and to work in harmony towards a friendly atmosphere between the Club and its supporters.
Since the formation of PPSSC they have already helped some of the riders in the form of vouchers for spares and other useful items. In addition to that, a number of successful quiz nights have also been staged which everyone who has attended will agree have provided a great evening's entertainment.
Also members of the Supporters' Club have freely offered their services with the regular maintenance sessions at the East of England Showground.
For the 2012 season, PPSSC are looking to continue with their previous good work and to again help supporters to enjoy their night out at the stadium.
There are new ideas in the pipeline that will allow supporters to become further involved, with any profits from events and other fund raising going to the Speedway club, Supporters Club and riders.
