CZECH Republic international Ales Dryml is on his way back to the Showground – to complete the team for Peterborough’s 2014 Premier League challenge.
Dryml rejoins the Panthers after several previous top-flight spells with the club and is expected to be a powerful scorer at their new level.
He first rode for the club back in 2004 and has spent the last two seasons with Belle Vue, whilst also becoming European Champion in 2012 and having seven Grand Prix outings as first reserve last year.
And he showed he retains his Showground expertise by top-scoring for Belle Vue in both of his 2013 visits with returns of 13+2 and 9.
Dryml comes into the team on a converted average of 7.52 and it means the completed Panthers septet is fractionally below the points-limit ceiling of 42.50.
Boss Trevor Swales said: “It is a coup for the club to be able to sign a rider of Ales' calibre to race in the Premier League. I certainly hope, and believe, that he will prove to be a big star at this level.
“A lot of work has gone into sorting out a deal for Ales and he has put Peterborough ahead of a lot of his other commitments.
“His vast experience will prove invaluable and I'm sure the younger lads in the team will able to learn a lot from him.”
